From a Pastor in Nepal

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God is great because of his grace we are alive. I think because he wanted us to preach about the second coming of Christ he kept us alive. Everything is destroyed in Hindi. The Church, Home and almost every building is destroyed. So please pray for Nepal and Hindi. The kid’s health is getting worse day by so please pray for them. The roads are also in a very bad condition so I had to come by walking in most of the way only in some way we can get vehicle. The number of people who died in Hindi and its area only is more than 100 people and the number of people who died only in Sindhupalchowk district is more than 2839 people. In the whole country Nepal the number of people who died is 7467 people. The number of people who is injured is 14477. The most affected district of Nepal by the earthquake is Sindhupalchowk (where we are living).

Please pray for Nepal’s economic condition. I have attached the pictures in the attachment please kindly find it. Right now immediately we need food, shelter and medicine. Everything is loss. It is very hard to survive in Hindi because we cannot get anything there because all the shops are already destroyed. As I know the main point of the Earthquake in Sindhupalchowk is Kodari. We are in a very tottering condition. If the big earthquake comes once again then we will die of hunger and disease. Right now nobody is giving us any help, so we don’t have any tents, we are sitting at the middle of the forest.

So right now immediately we need Your Help for food, tent and medicines. Please pray, support and help us for the glory of God. save their family. Not only our area but all of the Sindhupalchowk district. Our district is the worse part, thousands of people lost their life, and many death bodies are still left. And there is so many diseases rising, Please keep in touch.

Thank you.
Pastor,Indra.

Why is it Important to be Resilient?

The facts are only sometimes representative of reality, and there’s more to the story than we see. It’s powerful when we tune in to that compass bearing, look to God to help us create a complete picture of reality, and not just say, “Truth is whatever my sense is, but Lord, tell me the facts and the greater vantage point.”

Navigating the Pain of Change and Disappointment

That was the order we were given within minutes of discovering our residencies had been denied renewal. The city hall official was not hostile or aggressive, simply delivering orders. I responded that we would “absolutely not be leaving in thirty days.” She mentioned they would send a police officer to our door if we did not comply. I told her she could send the king; I still would not leave after thirty days. That was impossible!
