My name is Brittani, and I’m from Colorado, USA. I am a servant of the Lord in the Kingdom of Cambodia, and I desire to bring God glory wherever I go in whatever I do.

The Kingdom of Cambodia:

According to the Joshua Project, 43.2% of the people groups in Cambodia are unreached. Yet, Christianity is fast growing, and the Lord has the door wide open for the Gospel to be preached. Click here to read an article from Christianity Today on news and religious freedom in Cambodia; it’s a ‘modern-day miracle.’

My Missions History:

I had an interest in missions since I was in 8th grade; God confirmed it through my first mission trip to an Indian Reservation in Montana. He confirmed the international calling when I went on my first overseas mission trip to Haiti when I was 17. At 19, I did a discipleship training school where I was sent to Cambodia as an intern for six months. I fell in love with the country and people.

I prayed to return after my internship, and God confirmed my calling to the Kingdom of Cambodia in 2015 through His Word in Philippians 2:24 “But I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly.” I did get to go back to Cambodia twice while serving with the same ministry I was first an intern with! God showed me, “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” -2 Corinthians 1:20.

I’ve been walking in God’s faithfulness through it all and came back to Cambodia as a solo missionary at the end of 2019 and have been here since.

Presently:

But now, I am not a solo missionary. In late 2021, I married the love of my life, Raryvorto! He is a Cambodian who loves the Lord and wants to bring God glory wherever He takes us. Read how our God-given love story started on my blog.

Our most significant ministry is serving in a village church plant of New Life Fellowship Cambodia (NLF). The village church is located in Kampong Speu province, Vorl Preng village. It is called New Life Fellowship Vorl Preng. We live in the capital city of Cambodia and travel to the village 1-2 times a month for the weekend.

What We Do In NLF Vorl Preng:

-I coordinate the youth group, where we meet monthly to worship our Lord, play games, and study the Word of God together. We also fellowship over snacks and hope to do a camp/retreat once a year.

-I teach English over Zoom three times a week. Unfortunately, we can’t physically be there to teach a second language, but we do what we can to help them grow in it and hopefully retain new knowledge to help their futures.

-I help coordinate any guests that may visit our church there. It involves being aware of potential partners and people who want to do a mission there or simply visit and coordinate their trips.

-My husband teaches computers, like typing and Microsoft Word and Excel. He has raised up a couple of students who are at a higher level to continue teaching the others while we aren’t there.

Serving in the City:

We are also heavily involved in NLF’s main campus in the city.

-I help the translation team 1-2 Sundays a month. The sermons are always preached in Khmer, while a translator interprets live online using an app. I translate into the English language so foreigners who can’t speak Khmer can understand the teaching.

-I help with children’s ministry 1-2 Sundays a month. I love kids and being able to teach them the Bible.

-I have a small group. We may not always get to meet all together, but my focus has been on discipling and mentoring the young girls in my group and meeting one-on-one with them.

-My husband is on the connection team. He helps pray for people at the end of service 1-2 Sundays a month and helps pray for new believers.

We love what we get to do for Jesus and look forward to what more He has in store for us as we continue this journey.
