Currently serving as a foreign missionary to the Northeast part of Brazil. I find no greater honor than to share in the great work of spreading the good news...

"Get yourself up on a high mountain, O Zion, bearer of good news; lift up your voice mightily, O Jerusalem, bearer of good news; lift it up, do not fear. Say to the cities of Judah, 'Here is your God! ' - Isaiah 40:9
My name is Danielle. In November of 2014, I moved as a missionary to Brazil. I currently reside in the city of Recife with an organization called Shores of Grace. Founded by Nic and Rachael Billman, Shores of Grace exists to bring glory to God by revealing Father God’s heart for humanity. We labor to call home the lost, broken, and needy in Recife and surrounding cities in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. We join the Holy Spirit in bringing restoration and identity to women in prostitution, trafficked and/or abused children, economically poor families/communities, and homeless men, women and children who may also be stuck in a life cycle of drugs and abuse. In April of 2015, Shores of Grace opened a new girl's rescue home named Vila Betânia. This home currently houses 13 teenage girls and 4 babies.
The roles I operate in include coordinating and organizing the function of our missions base, leadership in our project to reach and rescue women in prostitution, and evangelism outreach to all kinds of people in the inner city of Recife. Some days I am giving counseling advice to a team member; other days I am receiving it. At least every week, I am sitting on a dirty street either reading books to children, or prophesying and praying with persons of mental, emotional, spiritual, or economic poverty status. Other days I may be found buying groceries for the ministry, praying with team members to see the kingdom of heaven invade our city, eating acai with a woman thinking about leaving prostitution, or discipling a teenage girl...
If you ask me what I do, I hope my passionate lip service to tell and teach others about the Trinity matches the lifestyle of power and integrity the Bible instructs Christians to lead. I hope my life speaks love and power louder than my words---whether I am whispering prayers into the ears of orphaned babies, or yelling wildly for Jesus in Thursday intercession.
