Greetings, and welcome to my page on the Modern Day Missions website. I’m Jarod Luba, preacher, disciple maker, and herald of the kingdom of God. One pastor called me a major equipper but I just seek to see people grow in their pursuit of God and His mission. I believe that imbedded in the Gospel are both the power to persevere through difficult circumstances and the wisdom to live a fruitful life. My friends say that I am fervent and charged to the task of ministry in addition to being well-loved by children. And I feel that I really care about people and pleasing the Lord.

What I do:
When I travel into the nations, I go into churches and equip them depending on what is needed. Oftentimes, I preach and teach on the lordship of Christ. This includes aspects of how God moves and why it is important to subsequently live for Christ today. Further, I make disciples by training them through evangelistic events called kickstart events or activation weekends. Something that I often do when I speak in both the USA and overseas is to teach on revival. If we want to see communities changed and transformed for the long term, revival is a key. History confirms this. Not only that, I will often go door-to-door and enter homes of people that need to hear about the saving love of Jesus! I’m not afraid to help people in need on the streets either. I’ve also been fortunate to serve hungry children food and care for children in difficult circumstances. Finally, I work with various groups like the Assemblies of God, YWAM, houses of prayer, missions bases, and The Last Reformation to undergird their kingdom efforts by utilizing my unique skill set, experience, and educational background.

My story:
So I’m one of those guys that have a night to light testimony. Radically saved from living a life of alcohol, drugs, and partying, I was born-again at age 20. Through the witness of a friend and a radical visitation of God’s presence, my life was forever changed. The call to holiness and missions were later imparted at the Brownsville Revival and the school of ministry there. I did go through some difficult times, but a fresh burden was received as I traveled the nation as a videographer for CBN. Reporting on the incredible things God was doing in the world forced me to a crossroad. Later, a subsequent renewal of God’s powerful presence with an underscore of His fatherly love took place through long hours in the house of prayer movement coupled with seminary studies. And finally, I decided to respond to the call of the nations again. I have prepared and am uniquely qualified via my ministerial experience in nearly 30 nations in addition to attaining an academic foundation. Furthermore, I also have experience as a hospital chaplain for a season, which deepened my heart for the sick and hurting. I asked some friends what they thought of me and the three most common words were passionate, committed, and compassionate… So I guess I will “go” with that. Bless you 🙂
