We are Chrys and Bill Robinson. We have been happily married for over 30 years and have raised 6 children. We are missionaries serving and sharing the love of Jesus in Costa Rica. We focus on discipleship through building relationships and encouraging people to have a closer walk with God. We facilitate missions trips to Latin and South American countries. We use environmental projects as a means to connect with people in local communities and work to bring economic, social, and spiritual solutions to them. In addition, we use conversational English classes as a means to present the Gospel and share God’s love. We feel the Lord has called us to equip young people to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as we mentor, encourage, teach and model daily ministry according to biblical principles. One step in this process is stepping out of one’s comfort zone and relying completely on the Holy Spirit. We find this is easily done when traveling in a foreign country. The goal is to continue this model of ministry and close relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ after returning to one’s home country. We live in the mountains above the city of Heredia, Costa Rica. Isaiah 61:1-3
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
