Ronald and Nancy Santillan

WE ARE THE SANTILLANS.

Ronald and Nancy, Elle and Sammy live and minister in Lima, Peru. Ronald, who is a native Peruvian, began working with Oikos Ministries, a Lima-based non-denominational church in 2011, and Nancy {native Texan} joined shortly thereafter in 2012. Through the ins and outs of life and ministry with Oikos and working together in Pacifico (one of the many Lima slums), we fell in love and married in October of 2013. Shortly after, we began leading Oikos Pacifico  and established "Casa de Paz" in 2016.  In May of 2015, our beautiful Elle was born, and in October 2017, our handsome Sammy made his debout.

Oikos Casa de Paz

Oikos Casa de Paz* (the white building pictured above) means "Family House of Peace" in Spanish. It is a non-denominational community outreach center located in Pacifico de Villa. Pacifico, Lima, Peru.  Pacifico is 25-year old shanty-town located on the outskirts of Lima, Peru. It is known by the surrounding areas as a place of violence, robbery, gang activity and, drugs and prostitution.

“Casa de Paz was established in Pacifico in November of 2017 and is a place where school-aged children and their families can receive spiritual, emotional, physical, relational and financial help.  Our before/ after-school program offers children and youth Biblical discipleship, tutoring and homework help, a nutritious meal, access to a shower and extra-curricular activities such as music and art classes, martial arts and sports.  Many of the kids and youth involved Casa de Paz have had deep encounters with the Lord while there, many of them for the first time.

*Please note that our family is preparing to go on extended furlough in the U.S., and that as of May 2018, Oikos Casa de Paz is under the supervision and leadership of Mark and Anna Burgess. For more information regarding Casa de Paz, or to make a direct donation to Casa de Paz, please contact the Burgess Family at oikoscentral@gmail.com

Our vision is to reach those living on the edges of society with the Father's love and to see them experience His salvation, healing and restoration in every part of their lives.
