Marvin Slaton II is a Christian missionary and the Executive Director of “Modern Day Missions”, a Christian mission organization based in Arlington, TX. He graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2011 with a BS in Applied Science. Marvin Slaton II and his wife, Andrea Slaton, reside in Tyler, TX and have three children.

The heart and passion that is behind missions has always inspired me. I was 19 when I went on my first mission trip to Mexico. I never would have dreamed that 20 years later, I would find myself in my 11th year as the director of a missionary organization.
Over the past 20 years, I have been to over 30 countries, lived in China and played a role in helping start “Modern Day Missions”. Through the faithfulness and providence of God, I was able to attend Bible College, become a credentialed minister and obtain my BS in speech communication from the University of Texas at Tyler.
More importantly, I have been married to my “dream girl” for 11 years and we have three kids that I’m totally in love with. After all, Family Is Revival and I’m all about revival coming to the nations through each family!
God is so faithful and it’s a privilege to play my role in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. The history of “Modern Day Missions” is chalked full of God’s goodness, but we know the best is yet to come!!
