Don’t Do Ministry Alone!!

This was the theme of the ARC Conference we just recently returned from. How true of a statement it is that much of our success in ministry is dependent upon teamwork and partnerships. This was highlighted for us in the month of April at Modern Day. This month we have seen old partnerships strengthened and added some new ones that we are really excited about!

Seasoned Partnerships!

We have been connected with the ARC (Association of Related Churches) for a few years now through a handful of our field workers. This month we were able to attend their annual conference in Jacksonville, Florida. It was a great time of hearing incredible speakers (Joyce Meyer, Brian Houston, Chris Hodges, Stoval Weems, etc) and getting to further network with church planters and missions minded people. We feel we are at just the beginning of our partnership with ARC related missionaries and churches. We are super excited about what the future holds! You can learn more about ARC by Clicking Here.

Modern Day also continues to further and strengthen our partnership with TheCall and Lou Engle. TheCall has touched so many lives with their passion for prayer, prophecy and justice. It is a great privilege of ours to work along side of them in multiple ways to help them fulfill their ultimate vision! If you would like to learn more about TheCall you can Click Here.

One of our favorite people at Modern Day is Lewis Hogan. Lewis leads a wonderful ministry called Awakening USA. We are working very closely with Lewis and his team as they are gearing up for a HUGE event. In April of 2016 at the National Mall, Awakening USA will put on an historical event called United Cry. Tens of thousands of pastors will gather to pray, repent and help turn and point our nation back to Christ. For more information on Awakening USA and United Cry you can visit HERE.

New Partnerships!

We are so excited to announce that we are partnering with Tom and Teresa Craig, founders of Lighthouse Network. Their passion is to help build the highway from Egypt to Israel to Assyria mentioned in Isaiah 19. They have recently started the Daniel Center on the island of Cyprus that will be used as a House of Prayer and Ministry Center for outreach to the Middle East. Interns and Staff will be equipped through studying His Word, spending time in worship and intercession, and being trained in various areas of ministry and outreach in the Middle East.

Modern Day is also beyond privileged to be partnering with Global Celebration and Georgian & Winnie Banov who are lovingly referred to as the “Joy Apostles.” They travel extensively conducting revival meetings and conferences worldwide. They deliver a powerful message to the Body of Christ based on fresh revelations from the Epistles of Paul. The ministry is deeply involved in helping orphans across the world and in making disciples among the Gypsies in Eastern Europe. The partnership will help Global Celebration staff to raise support.

Why is it Important to be Resilient?

The facts are only sometimes representative of reality, and there’s more to the story than we see. It’s powerful when we tune in to that compass bearing, look to God to help us create a complete picture of reality, and not just say, “Truth is whatever my sense is, but Lord, tell me the facts and the greater vantage point.”

Navigating the Pain of Change and Disappointment

That was the order we were given within minutes of discovering our residencies had been denied renewal. The city hall official was not hostile or aggressive, simply delivering orders. I responded that we would “absolutely not be leaving in thirty days.” She mentioned they would send a police officer to our door if we did not comply. I told her she could send the king; I still would not leave after thirty days. That was impossible!
