Andrew grew up in Brazil as a missionary kid and came to faith at a young age. For more than 20 years, he has served the Lord in a variety of ministry and leadership roles, including Director of Worship Arts and Media, Worship Leader, Teacher, and Technical Director. His gifts include leading worship and playing guitar, telling stories through video and media production, and coordinating the technical and creative aspects of ministry with excellence.
Alexi grew up in a Christian home and gave her life to Christ in junior high. She has been actively involved in church ministry throughout her life, developing her gifts in worship, administration, and hospitality during and after college. Her experience includes roles as a Worship Leader, Church Administrator, Event and Wedding Coordinator. She has a heart for helping people encounter Jesus through authentic worship, meaningful connection, and intentional service.
Together, Andrew and Alexi have a shared passion for using their creative, technical, and relational gifts to support the Church and advance the gospel both locally and globally.
We feel a clear calling to serve with the Collegiate Day of Prayer because of the deep need we see for Jesus among Generation Z. This generation is searching for truth, identity, and hope in a world that often offers confusion and distraction. We believe that prayer is the foundation for revival—and that through united prayer on college campuses, God desires to awaken hearts and draw students to Himself.
We also see how God has uniquely prepared and gifted us for this ministry. Through our background in event coordination, worship, and production, we’ve seen how creative excellence and intentional planning can create space for people to encounter God’s presence. We’re excited to use those gifts to help facilitate gatherings that unite believers, inspire prayer, and tell the story of what God is doing across campuses nationwide.
The Collegiate Day of Prayer calls believers of all generations to join together in contending for revival and spiritual awakening on college and university campuses across America and around the world. Our vision is to see every campus covered in prayer, inviting people to “adopt three campuses” — one nearby, one personally meaningful, and one in another nation — as part of a global effort to lift up more than 250 million college students. Through shared prayer, fasting, and unified intercession, the movement seeks to mobilize the Church to stand in faith for a fresh move of God among the next generation. This all culminates in a prayer gathering on the last Thursday of February where we invite people from around the globe to join us in prayer through a live broadcast.
