Shores of Grace, is a base in Jaboatão dos Guararapes. Its objective is to: Love God with all our being and through His love, rescue and restore individuals and families who have been hurt by prostitution, abuse, abandonment and poverty in Recife, Brazil and the world.
I’m doing a mission in the communities of Jaboatão dos Guararapes, we work with interventions with teenagers and families within these communities. With discipleship and care directly for boys and girls in the community.
Weekly we go to the Red Light District to meet these men and women, we speak a few words, we share what we feel the Lord has been telling us about them, from this hearts are unlocked for longer conversations and we build relationships.
Vila Betânia is a home for girls aged 0 to 18 and boys up to 2 years old in the city of Jaboatão dos Guararapes in Pernambuco, Brazil. In Brazil, Vila Betânia is an institution and ministry linked to Shores of Grace, guided by the Child and Adolescent Statute. The home is a place of safety and recovery where our consistently trained staff care for girls in an environment of love and encouragement.
I pray that the avenues of Brazil, taken over by prostitution, feel embraced by God Father, I pray that people come and have a plate of food on the table, and that poverty ends. I pray for peace in the favelas.
I pray for you Brazil. I scream for you Brazil. May order and progress be established. And for Christ to rule you Brazil. “I believe in you Brazil, as Christ believes in you.” The homeland is yours Yeshua!
