Álvaro has been serving the Lord Jesus in the teaching ministry since 1997. Throughout his journey, he has instructed brothers in Missionary Training Schools across different departments of Colombia, sowing in them passion and commitment for the service of the Lord.
In 2003 he married Milena, and from their union their daughter Milenys was born. Together with his wife, he began serving in the local church as a pastoral leader, continuing the ministerial work of training brothers for the service of the Kingdom.
In 2023 they assumed the leadership of a newly founded church in the municipality of Malambo, Atlántico, where they served for two years until the congregation was established with local leaders. Currently, Álvaro and his family reside in the municipality of Galapa, Atlántico, from where they serve in a developing church. With faith and vision, they project themselves in the Lord Jesus to begin expansion efforts toward neighboring municipalities, bringing the message of salvation and hope to new communities.
