Hi!
Welcome to my side of the corner on ModernDay. I am the founder of Seeds of Hope Ministries and a missionary to the Busoga people in Uganda, Africa. In 2019 the Lord captured my heart for this beautiful country and its people and I have patiently been waiting for a “Go” from the Lord!
In 2024 the Lord began to speak to me that it was time to take a trip and in November of that year I came to Uganda for three weeks and was reminded of my love for this beautiful nation and it’s people. The Pearl of Africa is filled with rich culture, delicious food, many languages and some of the most beautiful terrain in Africa. I have slowly been transitioning to Uganda full-time working back in the states for six months and coming to Uganda for three months but I am taking the next step and a giant leap of Faith and going all in. In October of this year I hope to be fully funded so that I can stay and do the work that I feel the Lord has called me too!
Seeds of Hope Begins
In Uganda 1 in 4 girls by the age of 12 will have had their first sexual experience usually by a family member and many end up pregnant. No support, No hope, kids having kids. Many if not all will not continue their education thus continuing a vicious cycle of young girls having kids, marrying early with no education and no trade to provide a way out of poverty for them or their children.
Last year, I started meeting with teen moms twice a week. I began teaching them the Word of God, empowering them to believe that God sees them too and that they are here for a purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 became a weekly verse in our gatherings and as the weeks went on I watched these teens start to believe what I had been seeing all along. It wasn’t in my plans but the Lord made it clear I was to start a trade school of sorts. A place for them to meet twice a week and learn a skill, be heard by nurturing teachers and get a skill under their belt to make a living for themselves and their child.
Next month I will have the honor of graduating 45 mommas between the ages of 15 -21 from the school and give them the tools to be able to spread their wings and fly! I am so excited to see these young ladies and celebrate them, but it doesn’t just stop there.
When the Lost get Found – Serving the least of these.
The end goal is that the Gospel would be preached and that many would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ – bringing hope and transformation to the lives of every person we come into contact with. Through community meals, weekly Bible Studies, farming, healthcare clinics and so much more – it takes the Gospel and turns it into something tangible.

The Great Commission – A Call to Go!
In the fall of 2014 I had the privilege of attending a Discipleship Training School with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) where I spent three months in India going into villages preaching the Gospel, praying for the sick, and making disciples just like Matthew 28:18-20 commands us too and my world was flipped upside down. I knew after those three months that I was called to be a missionary.
It was incredible and the best years of my twenties, I transitioned back home and in 2019 I had the beautiful honor of taking a team of teens to Uganda with Teen Missions International. We arrived on a balmy summer afternoon and I knew in my heart this was where the Lord was calling me to be full time. It wasn’t the warmth or the fact that I had just endured 36 hours of travel with 16 teenagers, it was a deep knowing that this was exactly where I was supposed to be. Five years later, in November of 2024 I returned to the Pearl of Africa with a God sized dream in my heart and no idea how it was all going to work out. BUT Jesus does and all He is asking for is my obedience. Here I am Lord, Send me! -Isaiah 6:8
Till every nation, tribe and tongue in Uganda knows Jesus!
