Patrick and Amy Soares da Rocha

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying: “Whom shall I send? Who will go for Us?”

Patrick (Paddy) is half-Portuguese, half-German, born and raised in Germany.
Amy is from Washington State, USA.

We met on the mission field in 2019, married in 2021, remained in foreign missions for 3 years before God called us to settle in Paddy’s hometown in Germany at the beginning of 2024 and take a job as an associate pastor at a local church.

At the beginning of 2025, two significant things happened: our daughter Zoe was born, and we felt God calling us to church planting. Now, as a family, we are pursuing expanding the body of Christ in our region of Eastern Germany.

We were radically changed by God and our passion is to see others encounter who God really is and enter into a personal, transforming relationship with Him that leads them to impact lives wherever they go.

How will the people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how is someone to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
