God has given us a place to serve and a heart for people, whether across the street or around the world. Ten days in Honduras last year has led to another opportunity, this time to serve for three months. We couldn’t be more excited to return to this region and witness what God is doing in the precious people of Guaimaca.
Our goal is to make Jesus known, see people set free, and share His love. To do this, Andy will be assisting the Honduras Teen Challenge with leadership development, teaching & preaching in the community, counseling and supporting local families. As a family, we will be ministering to the children of a local orphanage. Mary will be teaching Bible class at Sunnyside Christian School and Landon and Jade will be attending school as well as assisting with gospel presentations for local children (VBS style).

Prayer is the most powerful part of missions because God does what only He can do. He responds directly to praying people. Wherever we see people are coming to Christ, families improving, economic opportunities increasing, we find that believers have been praying. Too often we forget we are not just fighting poverty, injustice and lack of education, but also principalities and powers that work against the cause of Christ. Breakthroughs come, however, where there is sustained, strategic prayer by the people of God.
Habakkuk 1:5 has become our heart cry. Yes, Lord!!!
