HI! WE ARE THE MATCHELLS! Our names are Brian, Christine, Jakin, Anna and Mikaiah Matchell. For the last 5 years we worked in Kijabe, Kenya, teaching Missionary Kids at an international boarding school called Rift Valley Academy. After working in Africa for 5 years we felt strongly called into Missionary and Missionary Kid care after seeing such a tremendous need for it overseas. With that in mind, we came back to the U.S. (we now live in Siloam Springs, AR), Christine is finishing her Masters in Counseling at JBU and Brian is now a certified debriefer and CISM debriefer, all with the desire to be better trained in supporting missionaries in crisis on and off the field. As we pursue different ways to provide care to our incredible missionary community, we believe very strongly in the following: 1. God has given us a heart for missionaries, missionary care, and missionary kids, 2. Our family was built to serve, 3. We have been blessed with an incredible set of family and friends that want to see the Gospel spread to all people groups, all over the world, 4. And that while we are being trained, Northwest Arkansas is where our family is being called to to serve from for this next season of our lives.
