I have been involved in missions since my family became Christians in 1989 when I was in 5th grade. The following summer I was blessed to go to Mexico on a mission trip and I was hooked. I have worked since 2002 as a missions pastor and missions mobilizer. My wife Alise and I took Perspectives in 2006 and we have been forever changed. Since that moment I knew that I was not just called to the nations, but I was to call other believers to fulfill their role in the completion of the great commission. Since taking Perspectives we have lived in Mexico, founded several mission based non-profits, started several business as mission ventures, served as the Texas Regional Director for Perspectives (2010-2013), and lead mission teams in a variety of contexts all over the world. I am blessed to have a wonderful family that not only supports me but participates in many ministries that God has put before us.
It has been my great joy to participate first hand in some of what God is doing globally. Over the last 7-8 years I have been blessed to help several networks develop strategy for identifying gaps in the global mission effort to reach all the peoples of the earth. While most of my focus has been in Latin America, I have also had impacts in the Philippines, South Asia, Eurasia, and East Africa. In 2022 God opened a door for my family to move to the Texas Hill Country to serve as the Pastor of Missions and Evangelism at FBC Boerne. Along with my role at FBC, in 2024 I again partnered with Perspectives as the South Texas Area Team Leader.
As I have restarted my partnership with the Perspectives State Leadership Team, I am excited to extend the scope of my work as a mobilizer to go far beyond the edge of Boerne and work with Churches from Central Texas to the boarder. This includes areas like Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Cristi, The Rio Grande Valley and many areas in between. Thank you for considering supporting this mobilizing work.
