Training and Equipping Missionaries
Brian grew up as a church planter’s kid in Indiana, while Joannie was a first-generation Christian in South Taiwan. Brian has experience in youth ministry, English and Bible teaching, and work in East Asia. Joannie’s background lies in music teaching and piano performance.
Brian and Joannie both moved to be a part of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, where they met and started a family.
For the past thirteen years, they have served in various leadership and teaching capacities in both the English and Chinese community while they served on the leadership team at IHOPKC until 2024.
Brian and Joannie have a passion for igniting love for Jesus, training young people, strengthening prayer services, and assisting believers to encounter Jesus in prayer and the Word.
