Growing up in the Amazon jungle and the Philippines as the daughter of missionary Bible translators, I saw firsthand the transformative power of Scripture in a people’s heart language. That early experience, as well as a PhD in Linguistics and Education and years of leading training teams in developing regions, has shaped my life’s calling. I am driven by a passion not just to do the work of translation, but to equip the global Church to lead it.
This passion has culminated in the launch of the BT Training Hub.
The task of reaching every language group is too large for a few centralized experts. The BT Training Hub is designed to democratize Bible translation, providing indigenous church leaders with a self-starting, output-focused learning platform. By offering a comprehensive library of resources—from foundational translation principles to advanced software tools—we are building a system where local believers can form their own cohorts, master the craft, and translate the Word of God for their own communities. This is about handing the tools of the “priesthood” back to the nations, ensuring that the work of the Great Commission can continue until every tribe and tongue has heard.
