My name is Christopher Hubbard, and I am from Kansas City, Missouri. I grew up primarily in a single-parent household and did not meet my father until later in life. For a period of time, I lived with my aunt and uncle, who provided a more stable home environment. I became a Christian while attending a church camp as a teenager, where I experienced God’s presence in a powerful way and felt a deep conviction of sin. That encounter began a journey of seeking the Lord, and over the following years my faith matured into a committed relationship with Jesus Christ.
Since then, I have served with several churches in the Kansas City area, worked for a Christian organization serving at-risk teenagers, and been involved with the International House of Prayer. Through my Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission and ministry opportunities in Japan and overseas, God has continued to confirm my calling to missions and cross-cultural ministry. I desire to faithfully serve Jesus Christ, share the Gospel, and support discipleship and ministry efforts as I continue serving with Youth With A Mission in Japan.
