I was introduced to the House of Prayer community in 2019. After searching “prayer” on Youtube, IHOPKC’s live stream came up and I was immediately intrigued. This was the beginning of growing in intimacy with the Lord through a lifestyle of prayer and worship. After a short visit in February 2019, the Lord called me to eventually move to Kansas City to attend IHOPKC’s ministry school. I moved back to New York City in 2021 for work only to return to Kansas City a year later to continue ministry school. In the summer of 2023, the Lord presented a new occupation as a full-time intercessory missionary in the House of Prayer. I struggled to embrace this assignment as it would mean a permanent separation from loved ones and career.
In January 2024, I started to serve at IHOPKC’s NightWatch as an intercessory missionary. From 12am-6am, I’ve had the v of laboring in worship and prayer over our city, the nation, the Body of Christ, the fulfillment of the Great Commission, and the salvation of Israel among other others. I also enjoy visiting and strengthening other houses of prayer through short-term missions trips. I love the local church and fond of the many expressions of worship within the church. What a special time to be alive!
