Denis and Mylene Cobar serve the Lord in a rural community in Honduras where they are dedicated to church planting and gospel-centered ministry. Since 2018, they have been working to establish Iglesia Bíblica Gracia Soberana (Sovereign Grace Bible Church), a congregation committed to proclaiming sound doctrine and equipping believers to grow in Christ. Denis serves as pastor, preaching the Word, discipling leaders, and shepherding the church family.
Mylene supports the ministry both in the church and in the community through various administrative roles. She uses her skills to assist with organization and operations at El Camino Bilingual School and the local hospital, where she helps strengthen daily functions and support staff teams.
Their son, Denis (17), is a sophomore in college. Together as a family, they desire to see the gospel faithfully proclaimed and the church firmly rooted in God’s Word.
Current Focus:
Gospel-centered preaching and teaching.
Serving the community through church and educational ministries.
Current Goals & Needs:
Purchase a permanent building for the church.
Raise up and equip more leaders to serve faithfully.
