Hello! My name is Ella Miller and I am originally from small town Kentucky. I recently graduated high school in the spring of 2021. The following July I partnered with Youth With A Mission and completed their Discipleship Training School. I am a full time missionary based out of Kona, Hawaii to disciple youth by leading and developing teams to reach the pacific islands. Here is a little bit about my world!! I am one of five siblings that grew up in the beautiful bluegrass. I was raised on southern hospitality, Jesus, and family. I grew up in the Christian Missionary Alliance which fueled my love for the nations, travel, and people.
What is YWAM?
YWAM is a global Christian missions organization, operating in 1,000+ locations in over 180 countries through three main areas – Evangelism, Training, and Mercy Ministries. Our goal is to know God and make Him known.
What is DTS?
Discipleship Training School (DTS), is the first step of becoming a long term missionary with YWAM. This school is six months long consisting of three months of training and three months of outreach.
Why Kona, Hawaii?
At YWAM Ships Kona our heart is to reach the isolated islands of the Pacific and Kona is the best launchpad for us to do so. Rich with Hawaiian culture and an optimal location to launch teams to the islands we develop teams to bring education, healthcare, and the gospel to the isolated.
