Bună! (Hello!)
My name is Ethan, and I’m 24 years old. I’ve been walking with Jesus since I was 13, and every step of the journey has been marked by His faithfulness and grace. I’ve been blessed to attend and serve at Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama, where my love for the Church and for serving others began to grow deeply. It was during my early years as a student there that I first sensed God stirring my heart for the nations—specifically for Eastern Europe.
In 2024, God opened the door for me to spend seven incredible months in Bucharest, Romania. During that time, I had the privilege of serving with a young, growing church called Intro Home. Drawing from the resources and heart of my home church, I was able to help launch a children’s ministry that is still growing today. I also joined in on outreach efforts like Serve Day, bringing practical help and the hope of Jesus to mothers and children in a maternal home, as well as to Ukrainian refugees who had fled the war. One of the greatest honors of my time there was mentoring local team members, offering spiritual encouragement, and seeing lives—both young and old—transformed by the Gospel.
After much prayer, wise counsel, and God’s clear confirmation, I’m preparing to return to Bucharest—this time for four years.
Pastor Daniel, the lead pastor of Intro Home, has invited me back to serve the people of Bucharest in a deeper way: by walking alongside them, building relationships, and showing them the joy, peace, and hope found in a personal relationship with Jesus—not just tradition, but true transformation.
My heart longs to see the people of Romania saved, baptized, deeply loved, passionately serving, and filled with the joy that only Jesus brings. I believe God has called and equipped me, through His Word and His Spirit, to be part of what He is doing in this beautiful nation.
