Serving with Hexham Community Church – Hexham, England
Hi, we’re Garrett and Marissa Hallbauer! We’re a newly married couple from Waco, Texas with a shared passion for seeing people encounter Jesus through genuine community, discipleship, and everyday life.
In early 2026, we’ll be moving to Hexham, England to serve with Hexham Community Church. Sent by our home church, Highland Baptist Church, we’ll be volunteering in youth and young adult ministry, church administration, and community outreach—coming alongside the local church to serve wherever there’s need and to build lasting relationships rooted in Christ.
Our prayer is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this new community—whether that’s leading youth nights, supporting after-school programs, or sharing everyday life with our neighbors.
We’re deeply grateful for the ways the Lord has already provided through both churches and for the opportunity to step out in faith together. We’re trusting Him to continue providing through prayer and partnership, and we’re so thankful for every person who chooses to walk alongside us as we serve in Hexham.
