Garth moved from California to the Europe in 1996. His primary passion is sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the lost, inspiring Christians to live fully for the Kingdom of God, teaching the Bible, and being a good husband and dad.
Garth has been married to his wonderful, hard-working, Christian wife Anna for 17 years. They live in the Czech Republic and are raising three boys, Kristian, Samuel and Sebastian, ages 14, 13 and 12. Garth is in full-time missionary service, preaching the Gospel in churches in the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Bosnia, Croatia, Belarus, and more.
They have been members of Prague Christian Fellowship church for over twenty years and Garth is involved there on the preaching team, in street evangelism, media ministry, and leads church evangelistic summer teams throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
In May 2025 the Wright family moved from big city Prague to the small town of Marianske Lazne, in far Western Czech Republic near the German border. This is the hometown of Anna’s father. He has a serious medical condition and lives with them.
Beginning in 2026 they are planting a Jesus-centered, evangelistic, Bible-teaching worshipping and praying church. They believe every person in the town must hear the life-saving Gospel of Jesus Christ at least once before they die, and have the opportunity to choose to live for Jesus and have eternal life in Heaven.
