Hello! I’m Gabriela, but you can call me Gaby. I’m a missionary in Amsterdam since September 2021.
- I love playing and creating music with my husband Nathanael on our days off, taking walks and bike riding soaking in the beauty of the city. Parks have become my sanctuary, where I feel God speaks to me through His creation. I’m especially proud of my Honduran Culture, sharing the culture through food whenever I get the chance.
- Within my missionary work, I am also actively involved in guiding young hearts and souls through the youth ministry. Additionally, my passion for worship has led me to contribute significantly to the worship ministry, where I hope to inspire others to draw closer to God through music and praise. I have also taken on the responsibility of personal discipleship, mentoring and nurturing individuals on a one-on-one basis, helping them grow in their faith and understanding of Jesus Christ. Through these crucial ministries, I hope to make a profound impact on the lives of those I touch, nurturing a deeper relationship with God and spreading His love and teachings.
- My life is a testament to the power of faith, prayer, and embracing God’s plan. Serving Him wholeheartedly is an incredible privilege, and I’m grateful for the journey He’s led me on.

- Me encanta tocar y crear música con mi esposo Nathanael en nuestros días libres, caminar y andar en bicicleta empapándome de la belleza de la ciudad. Los parques se han convertido en mi santuario, donde siento que Dios me habla a través de su creación. Estoy especialmente orgulloso de mi cultura hondureña, compartiendo la cultura a través de la comida cada vez que tengo la oportunidad.
- Dentro de mi trabajo misionero, también participo activamente en guiar corazones y almas jóvenes a través del ministerio juvenil. Además, mi pasión por la adoración me ha llevado a contribuir significativamente al ministerio de adoración, donde espero inspirar a otros a acercarse a Dios a través de la música y la alabanza. También asumo la responsabilidad del discipulado personal, asesorando y nutriendo a las personas individualmente, ayudándolas a crecer en su fe y comprensión de Jesucristo. A través de estos ministerios cruciales, espero tener un impacto profundo en las vidas de aquellos a quienes toco, fomentando una relación más profunda con Dios y difundiendo Su amor y sus enseñanzas.
- Mi vida es un testimonio del poder de la fe, la oración y la adopción del plan de Dios. Servirle de todo corazón es un privilegio increíble, y estoy agradecida por el camino por el que me ha guiado.

When people think of missions, they usually don’t think of a big European city. Yet, God knowing the needs of his people in The Netherlands, led and brought me here. There is surely a need for Jesus in a culture who relies so heavily on what they can accomplish on their own merit. Many times when we can fully depend on things to happen for us, we don’t need help. This has left the dutch able to fend for themselves financially, but poor in relationship/spirit/faith.

Credo Church
I am partnering with Pastor’s Enzo & Sandy Pignato of Credo Church, Amsterdam.
Credo church was started 4 years ago, and is now officially no longer a church plant, but an established church. With the biggest growth happening during COVID times, the church has grown close to the 200’s. Most of the church is made up of brand new believers and is highly international. The numbers don’t matter per say, but these are lives that have completely changed and have come to know Jesus, for this we celebrate Him.
I am serving in many different capacities. Including:
- Worship Leader & Admin; building the worship team with resources, knowledge, and tools
- In charge of a choir; that helps build community for church members, church goers, and surrounding community members
- As Youth leader; training & equipping other leaders in how to lead youth to christ, how to develop weekly moments of encounter, and discipleship.
- Discipler; discipling many young teen girls and women in their walk with Christ. I visit these people on a weekly basis, personally or in groups.
- Church leader; anything that needs to be done during the week or on Sundays, since serving in a full-time capacity I do it.

Cuando la gente piensa en misiones, por lo general no piensa en una gran ciudad europea. Sin embargo, Dios, conociendo las necesidades de su pueblo en Holanda, me guió y me trajo aquí. Seguramente hay una necesidad de Jesús en una cultura que depende tanto de lo que pueden lograr con sus propios méritos. Muchas veces, cuando podemos depender completamente de que las cosas nos sucedan, no necesitamos ayuda. Esto ha dejado a los holandeses capaces de valerse por sí mismos financieramente, pero pobres en relación/espíritu/fe.

Me estoy asociando con los pastores Enzo y Sandy Pignato de Credo Church, Amsterdam.
La iglesia Credo se inició hace 4 años y ahora oficialmente ya no es una iglesia plantada, sino una iglesia establecida. Con el mayor crecimiento durante los tiempos de COVID, la iglesia ha crecido cerca de los 200. La mayor parte de la iglesia está formada por nuevos creyentes y es muy internacional. Los números no importan por decir, pero estas son vidas que han cambiado por completo y han llegado a conocer a Jesús, por eso lo celebramos.
Estoy sirviendo en muchas capacidades diferentes. Incluido:
- Líder de adoración y administradora; formar el equipo de adoración con recursos, conocimientos y herramientas
- A cargo de un coro; que ayuda a construir una comunidad para los miembros de la iglesia, los asistentes de la iglesia y los miembros de la comunidad
- Como líder de la Juventud; capacitar y equipar a otros líderes sobre cómo llevar a los jóvenes a Cristo, cómo desarrollar momentos semanales de encuentro y discipulado.
- Discipuladora; discipular a muchas jóvenes adolescentes y mujeres en su caminar con Cristo. Visito a estas personas semanalmente, personalmente o en grupos.
- Líder de la iglesia; todo lo que hay que hacer durante la semana o los domingos
