Hello, my name is Prosper Hamayesu. I’m originally from Burundi and have been a legal resident in Rwanda since 2019. I’m a born-again Christian committed to serving the Body of Christ across East Africa.
Before I joined missions outside my home nation, I was a private professional lawyer. For seven years, I served as a missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Rwanda at the Kigali base, holding roles including Discipleship Training School (DTS) Leader and Director of the Training Department. In these positions, I coordinated short- and long-term courses, seminars, conferences, and related training activities.
I currently serve as Mission Coordinator with GAHO – Give A Hand Organization, a Rwanda-registered non-profit providing education and physiotherapy services to children with special needs and supporting their families. In this role, I oversee the hosting of international, regional, and local teams that come to Rwanda for mission exposures.
I am also a certified Training Facilitator with the Trauma Healing Institute, serving communities in Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda in partnership with organizations dedicated to healing within the Church, communities, and nations.
In addition, I volunteer with Five Stones Impact — a ministry focused on church planting and mission mobilization among unreached people groups and the cities. I am also volunteering as staff member of the Center for Advocacy, Law and Justice, based at YWAM Harpenden, England.

AN INVITATION TO THE BROKEN AND WOUNDED.
Jesus invites all of us to bring our brokenness, wounds, burdens, and painful past to Him, where healing and restoration begin. In the present, God transforms what was meant to wound us into a source of strength, testimony, and hope for others who are still walking through their own pain. As we experience healing, we become part of a continuous movement of resilience, breaking cycles of brokenness so that future generations can inherit healing instead of harm, and entrusting what we have received to others who can carry it forward. Ultimately, this restoration strengthens and equips the Church to carry the ministry of reconciliation forward and to become the radiant Bride Christ is preparing for Himself.
