Jesus changes lives!
God has allowed me to be in a place to work per diem as a nurse and have time to serve with international student ministry in coordination with my church – Grace Community Church. Working primarily at this time with students at Green River College from 18+ countries. Many of the students who come have never been in a church or heard the gospel before coming to Fish Club and Grace Church. Its such a privilege to help with a weekly student social before church, Alpha, Fish club, and a monthly lunch social. I am part of a team that has allowed students to volunteer at World Vision and Compassion Washington Healthcare events, and other events through the year. In the last few months several students have made the decision to follow Jesus and have been baptized. These students will mostly be going back to their home countries after school and will reach people I’ll never get to meet!
The flexibility of per diem nursing has also allowed short term trips down to Iquitos Peru serving with and learning from Mortimers in Peru in Iquitos at Morada De Dios Church, and into the jungle on medical + evangelistic/discipleship trips including Kondoshi tribe with MEPI, and Urarina Tribe with Missions in the Amazon. Picture 16 hours on a boat up the Amazon tributaries dodging hazards in the river in all kinds of weather to reach remote villages with the love of Jesus. Last year in 2025 there were 103 baptisms up on the Chambira River at the Congreso Event!
Please pray with me for the international students that all would come to faith in Jesus. Pray for the missions trips to rural Peru serving with Mortimers in Peru, MEPI, and Missions In the Amazon.
Thank you so much for partnering with me in prayer! Support at this time will go to international student ministry and outreach – materials such as Bibles for students, meals for outreach lunch socials, gas costs driving to pick up and drop off students at church. Funds will also go to the two short term medical missions trips to rural Peru – tickets, river travel, food, etc.
