I am an intercessory missionary at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. After completing an internship, I joined staff in 2006 at 19 years old. I fell in love with the word, prayer, and team ministry. As a young girl I had dreamed of being able to do this— praying day and night in a context of worship and corporate prayer. Oh, what a joy it was to find a place where I could run hard with a company of people reaching for the same thing. In 2009, I married my husband who was on my worship team. In 2010 we moved to my hometown in Virginia to help run the House of Prayer in Fredericksburg.

During these years of working with the Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace I had my two beautiful children. Maranatha Joy was born in 2011 and Jon Styles was born in 2014. In 2016 we felt prompted to move back to Kansas City to help direct an internship here at IHOPKC. I have been on staff here ever since.

In the past I have done oversees missions primarily in Bosnia and Romania. I have helped with worship teams, youth ministry, internships, teaching, prayer leading, singing and playing, administrative work, children’s ministry, and various events and outreach. In the last few years, I have focused my time on singing and prayer leading. My husband has been on staff with me through this journey, but recently got his nursing degree, which he believes is further training for future ministry.

My heart and desire is to continue to pour out my life in sustained prayer and worship while growing in love and raising my children to know Him. I want to help sustain and build day and night prayer here in Kansas City because Jesus is worthy!

We are so thankful for the prayer movement across the globe. There are so many wonderful people we have been able to run with both locally and partner with even from a distance. Thank you to those who have stood with us in partnership to make it possible. May the Lord Bless you!
