My dream for my life was to be a rich business man. But God had a different plan for me. In 1994, He told me to surrender everything and follow Him. He led me to quit my job and go into full time ministry. After attending a seminary, I served as a pastor for several years.  In 2004, the Lord shifted me from pastoring to praying as a full time intercessory missionary at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (IHOPKC) to advance His Kingdom in the context of night and day prayer.

In 2007, God sent me to Israel for two years to help strengthen the houses of prayer in Jerusalem and to raise up watchmen for Israel in the Middle East. He then sent me back to America to raise up watchmen across USA to pray for Israel. In 2011, the Lord sent me back to IHOPKC to serve as a full-time intercessory missionary. I am excited to partner with the Lord here at IHOPKC by 1) calling believers to return to first loving God 2) discipling a spiritual family locally, nationally and internationally to grow in faith 3) leading a worship team that prays for God’s purposes for Israel 4) healing hearts and restoring families and 5) praying for the salvation of Israel, revival in America and the nations with intercessors at IHOPKC and from the nations.

In 2013, God called me pray with Him through the night watches at IHOPKC. I was hesitant to obey considering the cost of praying from 12 am to 6 am six nights a week. But I said yes. After joining the night watch these past several years, my heart is filled with joy and my life with His presence. Along with feeling closer to the Lord, He has revealed to me His passion to see His Son glorified on earth and the urgency to prepare for His return. Although the night watch has been rewarding, my obedience has been costly. However, I follow the One who paid the greater cost. I am doing the night watch because I love Jesus who is worthy of 24/7 worship and to be rewarded for His suffering.

“Behold, bless the LORD, All you servants of the LORD, Who by night stand in the house of the LORD!” —NKJ Psalm 134:1 A Song of Ascents.

In 2014, God called me to behold and bless Him in the night watches at IHOPKC.  So for 6 days a week from midnight to 6am, I together with community of intercessors at the International House of Prayer worship and pray with the Lord in the night. I stand before Him as a watchmen to join His heart interceding for the peace of Jerusalem, salvation of Israel, revival in America and for global harvest unto the return  of the King to Jerusalem and His rule over the nations.
