My husband and I were missionaries with Youth With A Mission together until he suddenly died
of cancer in 2017. He was one of my biggest supporters as I wrote Beach Walks and God Talks:
Diary of a Cowrie Shell, a Christian devotional that God put on my heart many years ago. It took
a few years for me to regroup and finish the book, but all that time I knew it was my commission
to finish it and use it for ministry and evangelism. Finally, in late 2020, the finished book was
delivered to my home. I am so grateful for God’s faithfulness in this journey.

But I knew the book was more than just another read. It’s full color pages feature devotions that –
as Jim Daly, president of Focus on the Family says, "share nuggets of truth and encouragement
to strengthen your faith and uplift your soul.

One reader wrote, “I plan to share some of your book tomorrow night at our American Heritage
Girls troop meeting where we are growing the next generation of prayer warriors.”
Sharon, another reader, says, "This morning I was reading from the devotional and realized how
resentful I have become with the path created for me to walk…This (book) opened my ears to
hear, ‘This expedition was designed especially for you! I want you to love its uniqueness as much
as I am loving you.
My prayer is Beach Walks and God Talks will help many hear God’s voice and realize His love
for them. I have discovered that people everywhere are drawn closer to God through the
testimony of His creation. I want His glory to be declared to the ends of the earth from my home
in Hawai’i.
I plan to do this through social media, women’s retreats, Bible studies and whatever means God
opens up for me to share this message. Currently, I teach a Beach Walks and God Talks Bible
study at my church and presented Beach Walks and God Talks retreats.
My joy is spreading the Truth of God’s word and teaching others to hear His voice in their daily
Now, the time has come for me to write a second book, that I believe will influence future
generations to live fully in the plans God designed for them before they were born.
In order to fulfill this mission, I am looking for others who would like to join my team in getting
His word out. Prayer is one of our first defenses (and offenses) in this charge. It is a full time job
to write and teach. In addition, there is printing to do, media to prepare, an office to run and a
myriad of other duties to complete. Would you consider working with me on this God-mission?
A world of hungry souls is waiting to hear the good news of Jesus’ love for them.
Let’s fulfill the Great Commission together. Blessings to you!

Since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature –
have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. ~ Romans 1:20
