Thank you for visiting my page and taking the time to read my story. My name is Katie Temple, and I serve as a missionary with Abide in partnership with MAPS Global. For the past 26 years, I’ve had the privilege of ministering in local churches, houses of prayer, and across various nations around the world.
In 2014, the Lord stirred my heart deeply for unreached and unengaged people groups in the Middle East, along with a burden to see laborers sent to proclaim the gospel among them. Over the past nine years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to this region multiple times, ministering and witnessing firsthand the great need for the love of Jesus.
In 2015, I experienced a powerful encounter that further expanded my heart for several nations in the Middle East. Since then, I have continued in prayer for these people groups, faithfully waiting on the Lord to open doors to go and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, boldness, and power. During these years I have been helping to train and send hundreds of missionaries around the world.
Throughout these 26 years as a full time missionary, I’ve served in nations across the 10/40 window and beyond. To see the reality of Matthew 9:37–38 and Matthew 28:19 lived out in my lifetime is one of my greatest desires. I believe the gospel is not just a good message, it is an urgent necessity for the people in unreached nations. And in this hour, the call for laborers has never been more pressing.
