Introduction
My name is Kevin Pierce and I have a burning passion to love the LORD with all of who I am, to love His people, and to live out His dream for my life. I am a sold-out follower of Jesus, a gratefully married husband (yes, my wife made sure that I included this point), a father of five children, and was a longtime government employee in our nation’s capital. In December 2024, I felt a prompting to leave a rewarding, 25-year career in pursuit of the dream of God for my life.
Following God’s Dream
Currently, part of God’s dream for me is as a full-time prayer missionary and Prayer Director at Healing Place Church (HPC) in Waldorf, Maryland. As part of my duties, I oversee our online corporate prayer, I lead our in-house prayer devotion writing team, and I manage our prayer altar team. I am thankful to work with so many dedicated laborers throughout the prayer ministry. Through the efforts of us all, we have been able to increase our corporate prayer times from two days a week to now five days, with prayer occurring every weekday.
The Mission & Invitation
I love prayer. God loves prayer. And He loves to meet us in the place of prayer, individually and corporately. Part of my mission is to lead people into an encounter with God through prayer.
