Thank you for choosing to walk this journey with me. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial support make it possible for me to serve wherever God leads. We truly are a team, and I am grateful for each person who has chosen to be part of this story.

For those who may not know me, my name is Kristin Barwick Williams, and I serve as a full-time missionary with a heart for healing, discipleship, and restoration.

Nearly a decade ago, God began speaking to me about two things: Hawai’i and something He called “The Healing House.” At the time, I had no idea what either would become. I simply kept saying yes to the next step.

That journey led me to complete Discipleship Training School with YWAM Ships Kona, serve among refugees in Greece, work with YWAM Ships Kona,  later join Island Breeze Ministries on the Big Island of Hawai’i, and teach art as a long term substitute to middle school students of Kealakehe Intermediate for a semester.

While serving in North Kohala, I helped care for the land, support local outreach efforts, teach art and gardening to youth, participate in community events, and create spaces where people can encounter God’s love and experience belonging.

Over the years, God has continued to expand the vision.

Today, my ministry spans the Island of Hawai’i and the Carolinas as I develop The Healing House.

The Healing House is built on the belief that every person deserves safety, healing, and restoration in body, soul, and spirit. Through discipleship, creative expression, healthy relationships, stewardship of the land, and outdoor experiences, my heart is to help people reconnect with God, discover their identity, and embrace their healing journey.

Whether through art with children in Hawai’i, cultivating gardens, gathering around a table, hiking mountain trails, writing stories that teach resilience, or simply sitting with someone in their pain, the mission remains the same:

To Bring Healing to the House.

The house is not a building.

The house is us.

We are living temples where the Holy Spirit dwells.

As someone who has walked through childhood cancer, the loss of my father to suicide, addiction, divorce, profound grief, and complex trauma, I understand the need for healing. My testimony is not one of perfection, but of God’s faithfulness to heal generational trauma.

Jesus has been restoring what was broken, renewing what was lost, and teaching me how to live in freedom. Now I have the privilege of helping others discover that same hope.

No matter where God plants my feet—from the mountains of the Carolinas to the shores of Hawai’i—my assignment remains the same:

To point people toward Jesus Christ and create spaces where healing and transformation can flourish.

Where We’re Going

The vision God placed on my heart years ago was simple:

The Healing House

At first, I thought it was a place.

Over time, I realized it was first a people.

A community learning to walk in freedom, healing, and wholeness through Jesus Christ.

Today, that vision is taking shape through relationships, discipleship, creative expression, storytelling, stewardship of the land, and outdoor adventures that reconnect people to God, themselves, and one another.

I believe God is still writing the story.

My prayer is to continue building bridges between Hawai’i and the Carolinas while creating opportunities for people to experience healing in body, soul, and spirit.

In the years ahead, I envision:

🌺 Gathering spaces where people feel safe, seen, and loved.

🎨 Creative workshops that use art as a tool for healing and restoration.

🌱 Gardens and wildflower spaces that reflect God’s beauty, growth, and faithfulness.

🏕️ Outdoor experiences that help individuals reconnect with creation, build healthy relationships, and discover courage.

📚 Books and resources that equip children and families with tools for emotional resilience, spiritual growth, and healthy identity.

🤝 A growing network of people committed to creating trauma-informed, Christ-centered communities where healing can flourish.

🏡 And one day, a physical Healing House—a place where people can gather, learn, create, rest, and encounter the transforming love of Jesus.

I do not know every detail of how God will accomplish this vision.

But I do know He has been faithful every step of the way.
