Hello, my name is Madison Todle and I’m so glad you’re here! I am taking a leap of faith and stepping into ministry with one mission, to know Jesus and make Him known. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve as an intern for Ignite movement’s Charlotte ministry at The University Of North Carolina at Charlotte. I would love for you to partner with me as I transition into ministry and devote my life to pursuing the Great Commission.

My Testimony:

I grew up in a Christian household and only new religion and not relationship, I went to church because it was the “right thing to do” and knew the Jesus loved me but never grasped the weight of what that meant. I had a great care free childhood but that took a turn during my seventh grade year. It was during my seventh grade year that my battle with anxiety began. As the years followed my anxiety was met with depression and by my junior year of high school these thought and feeling developed into suicidal thoughts. I was spiritually lost and thought that I would never be able to escape the pain and sadness that I was feeling. These feeling continued into my sophomore year of college where I hit rock bottom. I wanted an out and I was faced with two options, to give into my suicidal thoughts or turn to Jesus. I knew that there was more to life and wanted to find purpose again. So, I decided to give this whole “Jesus thing” another try. I went to an Ignite meeting expecting the same religious aspects I knew growing up. But I was met by something better than I could ever imagine. While at my first Ignite meeting, a girl came up to me and asked if she could pray for me. I had never seen her or spoken to her before. But, as she began to pray over me she prayed about things that I had never told anyone, not even my family. In that moment I realized that all the years I felt alone and unseen that God saw me. I continued to go to ignite and fell more and more in love with Jesus and began building a relationship with Jesus. A few months later while reading Romans 5, I was overwhelmed by the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. For the first time in my life I understood the weight of the gospel and in that moment I gave my life to the Lord and surrendered to His will. Ive been set free from suicidal ideation and no longer struggle with depression and anxiety. I have been living a life consecrated to Christ ever since :)

Why College Ministry?

Plainly put, college ministry saved my life. Through Ignite I found Jesus and have learned what it means to build a relationship with Jesus and live a life set apart for Him.

Being a college student I see first hand that Gen-Z is crying out for help and longing for satisfaction that can only be found in Jesus. I want nothing more than to be able to speak Jesus on my campus and see people encounter Christ and experience the steadfast overwhelming love of God.

I would greatly appreciate your partnership through prayer and giving to raise $2000 a month to support my ministry and see the name of Jesus preached on my campus!

“6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.” (Romans 5:6-11)

“ And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
