Hi! My name is Marissa, and I am a 20-year-old graduate of Oral Roberts University. This summer, I have the opportunity to serve as an intern with Open Door Ministries in Denver, Colorado, for three months.
Open Door Ministries works to move people toward self-sufficiency by helping change the circumstances and life patterns that have held people captive to poverty and addiction.
During my internship, I will be serving in nonprofit management and operations, primarily working with the Development Team on fundraising efforts that support the ministry’s programs and services. I will also assist with volunteer management, human resources, marketing and communications, and event planning.
Because this internship is unpaid, I am seeking monthly or one-time financial support to help cover my living expenses while serving this summer.
