Mark and Anna Burgess are British missionaries to Peru since 2007. They have 3 children: Daniel, Joel & Kaleb. They are passionate about seeing the next generation raised up to make disciples of Jesus through the Father’s love.

Mark and Anna lead Oikos Ministries based in Lima, Peru. Oikos means ‘extended family’ in Greek and has the vision to create families on mission together through discipleship and the power of the Holy Spirit. Oikos has a local church with a food bank and two after-school children’s clubs called ‘Casa de Paz’.
Oikos Local church – Oikos church serves the local community. Every two weeks we invite those in need to receive food parcels from our food bank. Many of those whom we serve are Venezuelan refugees, single mothers, those with unstable employment or health conditions making work difficult.
Oikos Casa de Paz (House of Peace) – Mark and Anna oversee two children’s projects in Lima. One is in a nearby Shantytown and the other one meets in the local church. Each week, over 50 vulnerable kids come to get a hot meal, homework help, and support from loving mentors who support them to break the poverty cycle and have hope for the future.
Children who were failing at school are now top of the class and getting scholarships; children who couldn’t behave are now learning in peace; and others who have never experienced a father’s love are being healed up as the Father’s love is demonstrated through faithful mentors.
