The Thrill of Hope
Hey Family!!
What a whirlwind it has been!
So much has happened, over the last 6 months! In January, a big life transition began for me. My season in the Lake Norman/ Concord area and at Newsong Church came to a close.
While I knew it was the Lord, this decision was not easy. It meant moving out of a region, community, job and place that I have called home for the last 17 years.
I am so grateful to the Lord for His grace on this season of transition and it has been such a gift to see Him in the midst of this time. There is a lot of stretching happening and revelation of what was, what is now, and what is to come. My heart is glad for the nearness of the Lord.
The Lord opened a door for me to be part of a church plant called CITY Movement in Raleigh and a national college campus ministry called IGNITE Movement.
I have the honor of being part of the church pioneering team, co-leading and building the worship team, discipling college students & young adults and getting to lead in other capacities.
As a partner with IGNITE Movement, I love the heart to see college campuses and cities transformed by the reality of the Gospel.
I have had the joy of leading worship with an amazing team at IGNITE’s Spring conference in Birmingham, AL and now we are gearing up for our National Summit this month in the Charlotte, NC area.
This gathering will be a time for directors, campus leaders, student leaders, students and church leaders to come and be encouraged, refreshed and empowered to pour into the next generation.
I am learning so much and know that the Lord brought me into new assignments for many different reasons.
He is showing me what it looks like to trust Him in new ways, to step out of my comfort zone, to rest in Him, to love on others, to glean from those around me- young and old- in fresh ways, to share His joy, keep Him the focus of my song, and to boldly share His love with others.
It has been such a gift to be in Raleigh and see God moving in this region. Praise the Lord! He is on the move everywhere!
I have been blown away by the Father’s kindness and I am truly seeing His goodness in the land of the living!
From seeing people surrender their lives to Jesus, being surrounded by those that are hungry and thirsty for Him, discipling young women, leading others into His presence through our worship in song and seeing God move in so many different spaces, it has been such a gift to be stepping into the new in this season of my life.
“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalms 27:13-14

July 29th- August 1st- IGNITE Movement National Summit-
Pray that all who come are encouraged and prepped for a new year on their college campus whether they are directors, leaders, student leaders or students.
August 8th- HER Table-
RDU Women’s Regional Gathering
August & September- Fall semester begins!
Pray for CITY Movement
as we begin a Bible study on
Meredith College’s campus.
Pray for wisdom and capacity
as we have students returning from summer and the new students who will be looking for a Jesus community.
