Kévelin and I are fully dedicated to the mission of reaching and caring for marginalized people. Since we were young, we have always been involved in different missionary initiatives, such as street evangelism, alternative rock events, and outreach in public squares. Our hearts were shaped in the practice of care and in the desire to bring the gospel to those in vulnerable situations, especially in the context of Fortaleza, where we grew up.
In 2016, we attended the “A Fornalha” school at Shores of Grace, a defining moment that rekindled our missionary calling. From that encounter, we became even more engaged in urban missions and in combating sexual exploitation and abuse. The mission became a way of life, and along with other friends, we planted a missional church that met the needs of the local community and trained new missionaries to be sent to other places.
During these years, we combined our secular work with ministerial activities until, in 2021, we understood that it was time to dedicate ourselves entirely to the mission. We moved to Recife, where we began serving with Shores of Grace, contributing to social projects focused on rescuing and supporting victims of exploitation and abuse. This transition marked the beginning of a new chapter in our ministry, now fully devoted to the mission.
Today, we serve as ministry and school directors at Shores of Grace, as well as pastors to the missionaries serving in the mission. We remain committed to reaching the most vulnerable, working on the training of new missionaries, and providing pastoral support and guidance to those who dedicate their lives to serving the gospel on the streets and among the marginalized.
