Nate & Lauren Ballivian

WHO WE ARE 

We are the Ballivians—Nate, Lauren, Gabriel, Ephraim, and Beatriz and we serve with Youth With a Mission (YWAM). Lauren and I met while attending Discipleship Training School with YWAM in 2006. It was during this time that God dramatically changed our lives and called us into missions. As a family, we love sports, good books, making (and eating) yummy food, and enjoying the outdoors.

WHAT WE DO 

I recently joined a YWAM Ministry called Mission Builders International (MBI). MBI’s goal is to see YWAM locations thrive as they know God and make Him known. It provides unique and professional-level services in the following ways: Coming alongside YWAM Campus leaders and their teams by providing coaching and consulting. (This will be Nate’s main ministry focus.). Debriefing YWAM missionaries and helping them process challenging seasons. Mobilizing thousands of short-term volunteers to YWAM locations globally. In addition to working with MBI, we are also part of a team that helps run YWAM’s Leadership Development Course (LDC). Our aim is to run this course biannually to help leaders get refreshed, refocused and retooled.

HEALTHY LEADERS

Kim, a YWAM Missionary for over 40 years, said “Without realizing it, my relationship with Jesus had flatlined. I experienced a personal revival during the LDC.”

Matt, a YWAM campus leader in Mexico said, “After receiving help from MBI, our leadership team is finally seeing the same things and speaking the same language. We also have a roadmap of how to move the ministry forward. It’s such a relief and something that is going to make our team much better.”

CHANGED NATIONS
