We are a family of seven called into missions as a family. We love the Lord and believe marriage and children are gifts from the Lord. We have hearts to steward these gifts well with help from God and from others. As we learned early on in our experience as a family in missions, “If you want to go farther, go together. If you want to go faster, go alone.” We feel our calling as a family is to minister to other families and to encourage them through the gifts of the Holy Spirit that He has given to us as a family, specifically hospitality and apostleship. We also feel called to be an encouragement to families through intercessory prayer, meeting their practical needs, as well as encouraging them in the principles He has given us in His word. Ultimately, our desire is to surrender our hearts to Him so that we can be used by Him to help bring the great commission to fruition by transforming the hearts of others.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 NIV Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, [4] who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. [5] For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
