The Wigents are working as a family in missions in Tyler, TX. David and Rachel are serving at Christian Heritage School, (CHS) which is a ministry of Youth With a Mission that seeks to Disciple Nations through Education. Rachel is currently teaching math as well as serving as the High School Vice Principal. In the summer, Rachel will be serving in a new position as Principal of the school. David will be leaving his business to join the ministry of CHS and serve as a facilities manager and oversee maintenance and building projects for the school and its housing facilities.
Amelia (11) and Ava (10) are finishing their 3rd year at Christian Heritage School. Amelia is in 6th grade and loves having her mother as her math teacher. She is a blue belt in Taekwondo (6th level) and enjoys playing basketball and doing crafts. Ava is in 4th grade and is involved in theater both at school and at a local studio. She will be doing a musical with her group in May and loves every opportunity to perform. Both girls acted in the school’s Christmas production and they are excited to perform in our annual Talent Show.
