Serving the Church and the City
We are Samuel and Janet, serving as local missionaries in Lima, Peru. Our calling is to remain present in our own city, strengthening the local church and walking alongside vulnerable communities with long-term faithfulness.
We believe the gospel does more than transform individual hearts. It forms communities shaped by truth, mercy, and hope.
In a city marked by deep contrasts, we serve from within the life of the church, trusting that lasting renewal grows through ordinary, consistent obedience.
For much of our lives, we have had the privilege of serving in and alongside the local church. That lifelong commitment continues to shape the way we live, work and serve today.
Samuel serves local churches through volunteer care, logistics, and practical support for ministry teams, helping create spaces where people can serve, grow, and experience Christian community.
Janet serves as a Pastoral Assistant and coordinates leadership development initiatives through Iniciativa Lima, including gatherings for pastors and ministry leaders that encourage collaboration, discipleship, and gospel renewal across Lima.
Together, we seek to strengthen the local church by encouraging leaders, supporting ministry partnerships, and serving wherever God opens doors. We believe that the renewal of a city begins with faithful churches that love Christ and their neighbors well.
We also have the privilege of partnering with trusted ministries that serve vulnerable communities, believing that acts of mercy become lasting when they grow out of the life of a healthy, gospel-centered church.
