The Henn family has worked in ministry all around the world, serving abroad full-time since 2018. Scott and Jill are originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, where they first met playing ultimate frisbee. They have worked with non-profit organizations including The Hope Venture, Mission of Hope, and are currently on staff with Youth With A Mission, based out of St. Mortiz, Switzerland.
Scott has professional experience owning and operating an arborist company, leading a major roofing company, and running his own contracting business. These experiences have equipped him to work well in construction and project management, as well as given him a huge heart servant leadership. The past few years, Scott’s had the opportunity to serve in outdoor-focused ministry, combining his love for the outdoors with in-depth discipleship.
Jill has a passion for photography and storytelling, and works to tell heartfelt stories of God at work. She has done writing, photography and video documentary work in Asia, Africa, India and Europe, and aspires to use her skills to tell honest and engaging stories that impact the world.
Jonah and Teagan (ages 14 and 12) are two of the kindest and most adventurous kids, who love rock climbing, swimming and flying on airplanes. Homeschooling gives them freedom to experience and learn from different cultures and nations.
