About us. We were married in 2007 and moved to Korea where we taught English for two years. From there, we moved to Nepal where we served on the mission field for eleven years. We worked mainly among the Tibetan Buddhists in remote villages in the Himalaya mountains. After Nepal, we lived in Armenia ministering to mainly Indians, Iranians, and Russians at an international church. Now God has led us to Tokyo, Japan!
Japan. While there is freedom of religion in Japan, only 1% of the population claims to be Christian and 0.2% attend a Protestant church. It is estimated that 95% of Japanese have never even heard the gospel. Japan is known as a “missionary graveyard,” but we can see how our previous experiences have prepared us for ministering in this nation know for isolation and depression. We also believe that God is preparing the soil of people’s hearts in Japan. Please join us in praying for breakthrough for the Japanese people!
Prayer requests for this season. We plan to stay in Japan for several decades, so our first step is learning language! Please pray for us in this new season. Pray for grace and wisdom during this transition season as we find our new house, build our new community, join a new home church, and study a new language.
