My name is Stephanie Solis and I was born and raised in Colorado, USA. I’m 29 years old, and I am called to be a full-time missionary! I always believed in God, but I didn’t know Him personally. At the age of 19, I had an encounter with God after facing severe demonic oppression due to the life that I was living. I was stuck in a life of sin – bound to alcohol, drugs, sexual immorality, greed, and so much godlessness; BUT GOD showed up in my darkest moment and completely turned my life around!
After surrendering my life to Jesus, the Lord began speaking to me about joining a missions organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). I didn’t know at the time, but this would open the door to God calling me into full-time missions! In 2019, I did my first Discipleship Training Program with YWAM in Redding, CA, and from there, the Lord led me to YWAM in Los Angeles where I would receive more training and join their missionary team. From YWAM Los Angeles, God led me to do missions in Turkey, South Africa, Egypt, Japan and France. While co-leading a 2-month mission trip to Japan in 2022/23, the Lord spoke to me about returning to Japan as a long-term missionary and start a house of prayer. Since then, the Lord has directed my steps towards this vision.
As I wait for God’s timing to move to Japan, God is leading me to join the missionary team at YWAM Cultivate in Italy, where I hope to help start a Bible department, serve in musical worship, serve the community and make Jesus known in Italy.
I am convinced that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to every problem in the world, so whether that be in a foreign country or in my hometown, my purpose is to know God and make Him known! I´d love for you to join my team! God bless you!
