GOD IS ON THE MOVE AROUND THE WORLD what a privilege it is to play a small part in it! For those of you who know me well, you know that it has been on my heart to do long term mission from the day I came to know Christ personally. After 20 years including over 10 short term mission trips to Russia, Uganda, Honduras, Mexico, and Greece I am now in Lima, Peru working at Camino de Vida Church serving under the leadership of Ps. Robert and Karyn Barriger. The heart of this church to reach and serve their city and nation is HUGE and I am privileged to be part of this effort.
I am continuing to serve on the Servolucion team, the CDV outreach arm to the community. I lead an amazing team that travels well over an hour every Saturday up bumpy dirt roads to the human settlement of Ecológico. There we have our Kids Club, GetUp Youth ministry, Soccer Academy and moms bible studies. In all, we serve over 300 kids, youth and adults every Saturday. God continues to surprise us in all that He is doing in the lives of these beautiful families. Currently we are building a new prefabricated “casita” to store all our things and serve as a classroom for our youth. A new concrete cement sports field has replaced the dirt soccer field. Moms are graduating from Shine Women and the kids finished up a great year and have their passports ready to go into their neighborhoods to share the Good News!
