I am from Guatemala.
My family and I founded a church on the streets for homeless people with drug addiction problems in Guatemala city.
Evangelical church of the streets “Sigo vivo” (i’m still alive), was founded in 2013 and was legally recognized by the Guatemalan government as the first church for homeless people in 2019.
I have worked as a full time urban missionary for sigo vivo since 2016.
I graduated from a seminary, from a missions and theology program that lasted 6 years, and i am currently studying Law to become a criminal lawyer because sigo vivo church also works with people that are in legal processes in prisons because of their lives on the streets.
I have written 3 books:
1. The calling that changed my life (english and spanich version): the story of how God called me to be a missionary with homeless people in my own country
2. Discovering a valuable truth (english and spanich version): a Bible studies guide on Luke. The encounters of Jesus and the marginalized people of that time and how their encounter changed their lives, it also focuses on how those encounters keep changing lives in our present days.
3. The calling that changed my life- Part 2: a continuation on how God has been working on the church of the streets for the past 12 years.
It is so amazing to be able to be part of what God was already doing in my country even before we started on this Journey… ♡
