Hi, we are the Carneiro family and we have served on staff with Youth With A Mission since 2006. For 8 years, my family lived and served on the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) base in Recife, Brazil. During our time there, we started an organization called Show de Bola Projeto where we taught soccer to children. We also spent those years discipling the students and their families. Evani was also the head leader of the Discipleship Training Schools (DTS) for 7 years.
In 2013 our whole family moved to Nanning, China in the province of Guangxi to serve as full time missionaries. While we were in China, we continued our work with serving on staff with Youth With A Mission. We did a school focused on Sports Training and we also focused on discipleship with the locals in Nanning, China.
In 2017, we came to Youth With A Missions in Tyler, Texas to do the Communications & Cultural Course. This course helped us to improve our language and culture skills so we can better understand the locals where we feel called to serve.
Right now, we are serving on staff with YWAM Tyler, Texas. We volunteer at our daughters school, Christian Heritage School, where we teach soccer to the children. Evani is serving in the office of the Christian Heritage School and is also working with women in at risk situations who have gone through abuse, prostitution, etc.
Our passion is to teach, equip, and send out teachers and disciples to bring about revival and the growth of the Kingdom of God. God has called us to do this through serving with Youth With A Mission .
