Theresa Babbitt is a follower of Jesus who is committed to doing life with people. Theresa earned a BA degree in Christian Ministries and Biblical Studies from Azusa Pacific University and got her start in parachurch organizations working with young adults, specifically in community based discipleship through the prayer movement where she served as an intercessory missionary for almost 15 years. She has also helped train and lead teams of young adults in cross cultural environments for mission and community development work. Though she is no longer working as a missionary full time, she has a passion for discipleship and serves in her local church.
Theresa has contributed to impactful events of various scales and audiences. From stadium gatherings, such as Azusa Now at the Los Angeles Coliseum, to faith based Conferences like SALT LA and Tribe Kids, to small collaborative events, transformational retreats, and even the occasional wedding. Theresa loves seeing dreams come alive, helping to facilitate spaces for people to encounter God, and seeing lives impacted in return. These days, she is more focused on putting feet to prayers in living rooms and around kitchen tables than in stadiums, but the goal is still the same- to create safe spaces for people to encounter Jesus.
